Through the Grapevine François Voyer Grande Champagne Cognac is an independent bottling from the Through the Grapevine series curated by La Maison du Whisky. It comes from François Voyer, a respected family estate in Verrières at the heart of Grande Champagne, the Premier Cru of Cognac, and is selected as a single cask, bottled without additives. The signature of Grande Champagne shows in an array of fruit, ripe pear and apricot with the subtle tartness of green apple, in a delicate, sophisticated profile. Carefully chosen oak imparts soft vanilla and subtle spice, balancing the fruit with depth, and floral hints reminiscent of spring blossom lift the bouquet. The finish is long and elegant. Sip it neat in a tulip glass.Estate-sourced, cask-selected Grande Champagne is a treat for enthusiasts, and this 750ml bottle is a fine example.
